A normally open backwater valve cut into your main sewer line, with permit, inspection and rebate paperwork.
The valve goes in the main sanitary line, usually just inside the foundation wall. We cut the slab, excavate to the pipe, install a normally open valve with an access cover, and re-pour the floor. Most installs take a day.
A building permit is required and the City inspects before the floor is closed. We book both.
Once it is in, lift the cover and check the flap a couple of times a year. It takes five minutes and we show you how.
